Join Kendall Stiles and learn about the best practices when it comes to recognizing and appreciating your volunteers.Volunteer Appreciation Week is April 15-21, 2018! Be prepared!

Ms.  Kendall Stiles , is The Founder and Director of The GIVE (Georgia College and Inspiring Volunteers to Engage) Center and Hands on Milledgeville. She has been working in the field of Student Development and Volunteerism for 24 years, most of which has taken place at Georgia College & State University.  She received both her B.S. degree in Elementary Education and her M.A. degree in Leadership in Higher Education from Appalachian State University in North Carolina. She has been on the Executive Board for the Georgia College Personnel Association, Past-President of The Georgia Campus Community Service Association, Past Vice President of Training and Development for The Georgia Association of Volunteer Administrators and is currently the Awards Chair for The Georgia Association of Volunteer Administrators.  She has served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oconee, Oconee Prevention Resource Council, Baldwin County American Cancer Society and the Life Enrichment Center and is currently the President of the Creative Expressions Center. She has been the treasurer for the friends of the Mary Vinson Library and has been a Chamber Ambassador with the Milledgeville & Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce. In 2010, she earned the highest honor in Student Affairs within the state of Georgia by receiving the Theodore K. Miller Outstanding Student Affairs Professional Service Award. In May, 2012 she was honored as 1 of 5 honorees for the 2012 Women of Distinction given by the Central Georgia chapter of Girl Scouts. In October, 2015 she named the Volunteer Administrator for the State of Georgia by the Georgia Association of Volunteer Administrators.

 She is also the founder & CEO of WRAP Stiles, “We Recognition and Appreciate People”, and is the author of Sharing Moments of Recognition Every day.  She has made many presentations around this necessary topic for volunteer programs to local, regional and state wide non-profit, faith based and health care organizations, higher education, etc.  Her life’s philosophy could not be stated any better than “To find Joy, Happiness and Love and make it your own but then scatter it every day.”
